Trade: Blackhawks Acquire Panik From Leafs For Morin

The Chicago Blackhawks have traded forward Jeremy Morin to the Toronto Maple Leafs for forward Richard Panik.

The 24-year old Morin was drafted 45th overall in the 2009 draft by the Thrashers. He carries a $800,000 NHL cap hit.

The 24-year old Panik was drafted 52nd overall in the 2009 draft by the Lightning. He carries a $975,000 cap hit.

  • Mark Lazerus: “The 24-year-old Panik has nine goals and 16 assists through 33 games with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies. He has 19G and 20A in 151 NHL games.”
