Pierre LeBrun: Duchene is expected to be meeting with the Nashville Predators today.

Pavelski meeting with teams

Pierre LeBrun: Pending UFA Joe Pavelski was in Dallas meeting with the Stars.

Pierre LeBrun: Pavelski’s meeting with the Stars was in the morning and then he flew to Tampa to meet with the Lightning.

He could be meeting with a third team but not sure who. Pavelski has talked to a few other teams over the phone.

At least four teams in the hunt for Lee?

David Pagnotta: Sounding like the New York Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks, Minnesota Wild and Colorado Avalanche are among the teams in the hunt for Anders Lee.

At least six teams in on Nyquist

Rick Dhaliwal: At least six teams have shown some interest in forward Gustav Nyquist.

Hutton getting interest

Rick Dhaliwal: Teams are calling Vancouver Canucks pending UFA defenseman Ben Hutton.

Oilers meet with Connolly

Reid Wilkins: Brett Connolly‘s agent Gerry Johannson confirms that Connolly has spoken with the Edmonton Oilers.

Goalie market

Frank Seravalli: The Oiler have been linked to goaltender Mike Smith and Petr Mrazek. Smith could also be an option to replace Mrazek in Carolina.

David Pagnotta: The New Jersey Devils are among the teams interested in goaltender Cam Talbot.

The Sharks could bring back one UFA defenseman

Kevin Kurz: It could be likely that UFA defenseman Tim Heed is re-signed by the San Jose Sharks. After trading Justin Braun, Heed could slot in on the right side of their third pairing.

Blackhawks could bring in some bottom-six help

Mark Lazerus: Bigger names like Pavelski and Lee get the most focus, but should expect the Chicago Blackhawks to bring in a bottom-six forward or two. Defensive center Ryan Carpenter is one player that keeps hearing.

Mark Lazerus: Mentioning again that Artemi Panarin is not interested in returning to Chicago.
