- Jenn Menendez: Coach Mike Johnston said that Pascal Dupuis wasn’t feeling well by the end of the second period and was removed from the game.
- Josh Yohe: GM Jim Rutherford said that Dupuis was “OK” after the game.

- Andrew Gross: Coach Alain Vigneault said that MRI results showed that defenseman Kevin Klein has a strained oblique and will be out for two to three weeks.

- Jon Rosen: Kings hockey ops saying that defenseman Matt Greene will have shoulder surgery tomorrow. He will be out indefinitely and recovery will be long-term.

- Adam Vingan of the Tennessean: Mike Fisher left last night’s game with a lower-body injury in the second period and didn’t return. He lost his balance and was lightly hit by Martin Hanzal, slamming into the boards. He left with putting little weight on his right leg.
- Colin Wilson missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury. The Preds recalled Cody Bass yesterday morning.
