Afternoon Hits: Bozak, Bryzgalov, Stamkos, Neurvirth, Merril, McQaid, Harding, Datsyuk and Duchene
- Jonas Siegel: Maple Leafs Tyler Bozak will return to the lineup tonight, centering Phil Kessel and James van Riemsdyk.
- Chris Wescott: The Oilers would like to have Ilya Bryzgalov start in either Nashville or Columbus.
- David Alter: James Reimer will start in net for the Maple Leafs.
- Nick Cotsonika: Lightning’s Steven Stamkos has a rod in his leg and is already walking around without crutches.
- Katie Carrera: Capitals Michal Neurvirth is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
- Tom Gulitti: The Devils recall Jon Merrill. Adam Larsson has a lower-body injury. Stephen Gionta is out with an ankle injury.
- Boston Bruins: Bruins Adam McQuaid is “getting closer” to being able return to the lineup. He could be a game-time decision.
- Michael Russo: Wild’s Josh Harding injury is the same as he had before the back-to-back games … spasms in the hamstring.
- Ansar Khan: Red Wings GM Ken Holland said that Pavel Datsyuk is day-to-day and is feeling pretty good. Todd Bertuzzi is out on Wednesday.
- Mike Chambers: Avs Matt Duchene skated but didn’t practice with the team.
