Nick Kypreos via twitter: Possible Ryan Smyth to the Calgary Flames is on hold until the Smyth finds out the Oilers stance.

TSN: The Lightning have signed Eric Brewer to a 4 year, $16 million deal.

Todd Cordell via twitter: A source is saying that the Flyers may try to trade Sergei Bobrovsky tonight.

Chris Botta via twitter: The Islanders are looking at trading for a late 1st round pick.

Andy Strickland via twitter: The Blues have been trying to get into the 1st round unsuccessfully. They have 5 picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun Times: The Blackhawks have 5 picks in the top 80, and could consider moving their 18th overall pick. Teams might be willing to offer up a veteran player for the pick. Blackhawks could be looking for role players with experience.
