Dmitry Chesnokov via twitter: Andrei Markov’s Russian agent didn’t deny that Markov re-signed with the Canadiens. He told SovSport, “I’m very happy for Andrei.” Agent added “Markov had a few very attractive offers from the KHL. He didn’t even consider them; wanted to stay in MTL.”
