Dan O’Neill of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Jason Arnott met with Blues coach Ken Hitchcock on Saturday, and skated yesterday morning. He will practice with the team as they travel on their road trip to Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Jose and Anaheim. Andy McDonald skated yesterday for the second time since straining his knee. Alex Steen was put on the IR on Saturday with an upper-body injury. Andy Strickland via twitter: The Blues will let Jason Arnott practice to see where he’s at. GM Doug Armstrong said there are no string attached.
Andy Strickland via twitter: Blues GM Doug Armstrong said that Alex Steen, Andy McDonald and Vladimir Tarasenko will be re-evaluated later this week. Steen could be the first to return to the lineup.
Luke DeCock via twitter: Hurricanes Cam Ward left last night’s game with what could be an ankle or groin injury. He didn’t look good leaving the ice. Chip Alexander via twitter: Coach Kirk Muller didn’t know the severity of Ward’s injury and added “Hopefully he gets back soon.” He’ll be evaluated further today.
Dan Murphy via twitter: Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa didn’t play last night because of a groin issue.
