Tallon would like ‘Coaches Challenge’ … Hossa out 2 weeks … Doughty hopefully to return Saturday … El Nino back to Junior

Darren Dreger of TSN: At November’s General Managers meetings, GM Dale Tallon is considering proposing a ‘Coaches Challenge’. TSN polled some NHL coaches (“Would you support a coaches challenge for certain plays, like goalie interference?”), 14 were in agreement. Limits to what could be challenged would have to be in place. 7 coaches voted against the idea.

Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe: If Blake Wheeler is moved by the Boston Bruins, Tyler Seguin could move into the top 2 lines. There still is the possibility that Seguin is sent back to Junior. An announcement could be made in the next 24-72 hours on Seguin’s future this year.
