Andrei Vasilevskiy suffers a foot injury

Caley Chelios: Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy left practice early yesterday and is out indefinitely. Coach Jon Cooper said that Vasilevskiy is going back to Tampa to be re-evaluated by their team doctors.

Joe Smith: Lightning goaltender Louis Domingue said that Vasilevskiy broke his foot during practice.

Auston Matthews could be 10 days away

Kristen Shilton: Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews is expected to miss four weeks. That puts it at November 26th, 11 days from now. For Matthews shoulder injury last season he skated/practiced at least 10 days before returning.

Brian Elliott injured and Radko Gudas ill

John Boruk of NBC Sports Philadelphia: Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott appears to have suffered a core muscle injury.

Defenseman Radko Gudas missed last night’s game with an undisclosed illness.
