Frank Seravalli via twitter: Flyers defenseman Nicklas Grossman will be out 7-10 days with a lower-body injury. Danny Briere is out indefinitely with an upper-back contusion.

Mike Harrington via twitter: If the Sabres can get into the playoffs, defenseman Christian Ehrhoff would probably be available.

Tom Gulitti of the Bergon Record: Devils forward David Clarkson is “sore” and didn’t practice today but is expected to play tomorrow. Johan Hedberg will start in net for the Devils. Adam Larsson will likely be scratched again.
