- Mark Lazerus: Blackhawks Patrick Kane will be out 12 weeks after breaking his left clavicle.
- Chris Kuc: The Blackhawks put Patrick Kane on the LTIR and recall Teuvo Teravainen.
- Iain MacIntyre: Canucks Ryan Miller will be out four to six weeks with a knee sprain.
- Mike Chamber: There is no updated on Avs Erik Johnson who as been out for almost five weeks after a knee scope. Timeline was three to eight weeks.
- Wayne Scanlan: Senators Craig Anderson took some shots this morning, but won’t get back in just yet.
- Stephen Whyno: Flyers Kimmo Timonen is getting close to returning: “It’s coming along…. Tomorrow is out, we’ll see weekend how I feel and go from there.”
- Ed Tait: Jets Blake Wheeler will be out for at least one more game.
- Sara Orlesky: Wheeler and Andrew Ladd didn’t practice today.
- Anaheim Ducks: Coach Bruce Boudreau hasn’t spoken with Frederik Andersen (upper-body) about a return date. Andersen did take part in their morning skate.
- Ansar Khan: Red Wings Kyle Quincey (bone chip in his ankle) has been given clearance to start practicing.
- Shawn Mitchell: Blue Jackets Sergei Bobrovsky (groin) said he had his best day on the ice. Progress has been steady and he could return by the weekend.
- Aaron Portzline: Blue Jackets Jack Skille will miss the rest of the season as he needs shoulder surgery.
- Dan Robertson: Canadiens P.A. Parenteau and Sergei Gonchar have been medically cleared, but neither will play tomorrow according to Michel Therrien.
- Mark Stepneski: Stars Ales Hemsky didn’t practice today and is questionable for Friday.
- Mike Heika: Stars Kari Lehtonen practiced, but is still questionable. Not known exactly what the issue is. Coach Lindy Ruff said he has a “medical issue.”
- Rich Chere: Devils goalie Keith Kinkaid (leg) didn’t skate today. Lamorielllo said they will likely try it tomorrow. Being cautious with him.
- Rob Mixer: Blue Jackets Jeremy Morin has skated the past few days, but is still listed as day-to-day.
- Jon Rosen: Kings GM Dean Lombardi said that “it’s possible” that Tanner Pearson returns before the end of the season.
- Jon Rosen: There are no on-ice plans for Alec Martinez just yet: “As of now nothing planned further than the bike” according to hockey ops.
