Dave Molinari: The Penguins expect to have the mumps test results today for Brandon Sutter, Steve Downie and Thomas Greiss.
Dave Molinari: Penguins Blake Comeau is expected to miss several weeks. Coach Mike Johnston wouldn’t say what the injury was, but it appeared to be a wrist issue. Comeau was put on the IR.
Brendan Savage: Red Wings Niklas Kronwall is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. The Wings hope he’s able to play on Saturday.
Mark Lazerus: Blackhawks Michal Rozsival (lower-body) “should be OK” according to coach Joel Quenneville.
Colorado Avalanche: Avs Patrick Bordeleau will be out eight to ten weeks with a fractured kneecap.
Tim Panaccio: Flyers GM Ron Hextall said that Steve Mason is progressing and the injury is not thought to be serious.
Nicholas Goss: Bruins coach Claude Julien said that Adam McQuaid’s rehab is “on track.”
Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times: Lightning’s Ben Bishop hopes to be ready for Saturday. There is also a good chance that Jason Garrison returns.
