- David Pollak: Sharks Brent Burns traveled with the team to Winnipeg.
- Chris Johnston: Rangers GM Glen Sather said that Rick Nash still has a ways to go.
- Lou Korac: Blues Brenden Morrow and Magnus Paajarvi (both upper-body) skated yesterday morning but aren’t ready to come off of the IR yet.
- Jeremy Rutherford: Blues Jordan Leopold is out with a hand injury. He’s day-to-day now, but could be longer. They will know tomorrow.
- Arthur Staple: Islanders Thomas Vanek won’t play today. Not known if he’ll go on the IR yet.
- Tony Ambrogio: Maple Leafs Nazem Kadri had a concussion test last night. Was “agitated” during the test has he wanted to return to the game.
