Randy Miller via twitter: Flyers GM Paul Holmgren on Daniel Briere’s sore wrist: “He’s coming along. he’s going to see our doctors Thursday.” Daniel Briere on his injury: “It seems every day I’m able 2 take the next step, but then there’s something that prevents me from going too hard or all out. I can’t wait to be able to be allowed to get in some control drills and be involved in a little more game situations.”
Ted Kulfan via twitter: The Wings have recalled Gustav Nyquist to replace injured Mikael Samuelsson.
Tom Gulitti via twitter: Devils Jacob Josefson is back on the ice this morning after not practicing yesterday with a sore foot. Center Travis Zajac is also back after missing yesterday after “tweaking something.”
Wes Gilbertson via twitter: Flames Roman Cervenka has been cleared by doctors. It’s possible that he and Jiri Hudler are in the lineup on Saturday, possibly on the same line.
