Katie Carrera: Capitals Mike Green was put on the IR. Green to the IR creates a roster spot. They have Dmitri Orlov available. Green could still play on Wednesday.
Scott Powers: Blackhawks Marian Hossa missed his second straight game with a lower-body injury. Nikolai Khabibulin has been put on the IR and Antti Raanta has been recalled.
Ken Wiebe: Jets Zach Bogosian is week-to-week with a groin injury.
