Injury Notes: Eriksson, Hamilton, Paille, Quick, Hejda, Crawford, Tanguay, Callahan, Boychuk and Zetterberg

Brian Wilde: Bruins Loui Eriksson was put on the IR with his second concussion in five weeks, fourth of his career. The two he had with Dallas were minor.

Jamie Erdahl: Bruins Dougie Hamilton will be out two to four weeks with a lower-body injury. Dan Paille missed last night’s game with a undisclosed upper-body injury.

NBC ProHockeyTalk: The Kings have put Jonathan Quick on the LTIR and activated Matt Greene.

Mike Chambers of the Denver Post: Avalanche’s Jan Hejda could start skating this week and possibly returning on Saturday or next Monday.

Mark Lazerus: Blackhawks Corey Crawford is out two to three weeks.

Adrian Dater: Avalanche winger Alex Tanguay now has a hip issue that is related to his knee injury. Surgery is a possibility and he’s out indefinitely.

Andrew Gross: Rangers Ryan Callahan left last night’s game with a knee sprain.

Stephen Harris of the Boston Herald: Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk skated yesterday for the first time since spraining his lower back last Thursday.

Eric Stephens: Ducks defensman Mark Fistric (upper-body) is out tonight against the Wild.

Ansar Khan of MLive: Red Wings Henrik Zetterberg traveled with the team to Florida, but he won’t he play. He hasn’t been cleared to start skating and and is not doing any off ice workouts either.

“Too early to say; take it step by step,” Zetterberg said Tuesday, after watching the morning skate at the BB&T Center. “Hopefully this week make some progress and we’ll see where it goes next.”

“Looks like we’re doing the right things, just takes time,’’ Zetterberg said.

“No timetable yet,” Zetterberg said. “Just got to see how I progress and feel with each step. Right now doing some rehab stuff and then we’ll see what the next step is.”
