Injury Notes: Hurricanes, Red Wings, Maple Leafs, Canadiens and Ducks

Michael Smith: Injured Hurricanes not practicing today: Alex Semin, Tuomo Ruutu, Elias Lindholm and Tim Gleason. Chip Alexander: Gleason is out with a concussion.
Ansar Khan: Red Wings Jordin Tootoo (bruised shoulder) skated today. Patrick Eaves is out with a sprained MCL and ankle, and hasn’t been on the ice since he suffered the injuries.
David Alter: Maple Leafs Frazer McLaren is expected to be put on the LTIR. James Mirtle: McLaren had a setback with regards to his broken finger. Not expected back for a couple of weeks.
John Lu: Canadiens Douglas Murray will be out four to six weeks with an upper-body injury.
Eric Stephens: Ducks Jakob Silfverberg (lower-body) practiced today. Luca Sbisa and Emerson Etem (both lower-body) did not practice.
