Adrian Dater of the Denver Post: Kyle Quincey should be returning from his concussion soon, which would give the Avalanche 8 defenseman. Jonas Holos has been scratched the last 2 games despite playing well. Craig Anderson is also getting closer to returning from his knee injury. There isn’t a return date set, but it shouldn’t be much longer.
Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune: Free agent defensman Marc-Andre Bergeron is getting closer to being ready after having off-season knee surgery. The Tampa Bay Lightning could be interested in adding the power-play specialist. Despite having the 6th best power-play unit, they’ve had 3 players QBing the top unit, Pavel Kubina, Brett Clark and currently Marty St. Louis.
