Islanders and Yashin talking comeback … Blue Jackets likely don’t have interest in Campoli

Dmitry Chesnokov via twitter: From Alexei Yashin’s agent Mark Gandler, “At this time we are negotiating with the Islanders…and are seriously considering their offer.” Katie Strang via twitter: Both Islanders GM Garth Snow and Yashin’s agent have confirmed they have had discussions on Yashin’s return to the Isles. Though talks have been exploratory to this point, Gandler say that they are “growing in seriousness.” Both Snow and Gandler believe they are not breaking any CBA rules despite the fact they the Islanders bought Yashin out.
