Darren Dreger via twitter: No surprise that yesterday’s afternoon meetings ended with little or no progress. There won’t be progressive reports until the key issues are negotiated.

Scott Burnside of ESPN: The Alberta Labour Board ruled with the NHL, giving them the right to lockout players in Alberta. If they ruled for the NHLPA, Oilers and Flames players would have received their pay and would have been able to use team facilities.
