- Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun: Senators coach Paul MacLean said there is no update on Marc Methot’s status and he’s no closer to returning to the lineup. He’s thought to be having a back issue and is on the IR.
“It’s been evaluated and re-evaluated already. The doctors see him regularly to see if anything more has to be done or what actually has to be done,” MacLean said. “He’s doing rehab. He’s doing whatever the therapists are telling him to do but nothing more than that.”
