L.A. Lariviere: Flames Mike Cammalleri has submitted a list of seven teams that he doesn’t want to be traded too.
Darren Dreger: The Flyers are getting some interest in Kimmo Timonen, but he may want to stay in Philadelphia. The asking price would be a second round pick for Andrej Meszaros.
John Boruk: The Flyers won’t hesitate to use some of their assets for the “right” trade, but Ryan Kesler/Alex Edler are not the “right” trade at this time.
Renaud Lavoie: “Big day for Ryan Callahan and the Rangers. Goal is to have a deal in place today. If not, a trade will be really possible.”
George Richards: Panthers GM Dale Tallon made an offer to Brad Boyes, spoke with agent yesterday.
David Pagnotta: Some teams that have called the Canucks about Ryan Kesler have been told he won’t waive his no-trade clause for them … Includes the Blue Jackets and Maple Leafs.
Jim Matheson: The Oilers are looking for second round pick for Ales Hemsky and the Penguins don’t have one. The Penguins might be interested in Ryan Smyth as a fourth liner who can help kill penalties and be used on the power play.
Hope Smoke: Nick Kypreos: “whether Gardiner is traded over the next two days or not, I don’t think there is a long future for him in Toronto due to Carlyle”
Randy Sportak: Scouting the Wild – Flames game last night: Blackhawks, Blue Jackets, Sharks, Blues and Lightning.
Todd Cordell: Darren Dreger said that the Sabres are getting a lot of interest in Christian Ehrhoff and Tyler Myers. Red Wings are among the teams calling on Ehrhoff.
Corey Pronman: Darren Dreger said it would likely take Nazem Kadri, Morgan Reilly/Jake Gardiner and first round pick for Ryan Kesler.
David Pagnotta: The Canadiens are unlikely to trade Brian Gionta. Both sides are expected to have some contract talks after the trade deadline.
