- TSN: Bill Daly and Steve Fehr spoke on the phone yesterday, but still have no plans to meet face to face.
- John Shannon via twitter: It was the first time since last Tuesday that Daly and Fehr have spoken. It is unlikely that they will meet before Christmas. Talks could resume on the 26th or 27th.
- David Staples of the Edmonton Journal: Matias Strozyk reported that Ales Hemsky, Jakub Kindl and David Krejci have left Pardubice. Hemsky’s insurance ran out, and it’s possible that he and Krejci return in the new year if the NHL season is cancelled.
