NHL Draft: 2016 Traded NHL Draft Picks by Team

With each passing year, it seems like teams are becoming more reluctant to part with draft picks, especially the high picks.

“I do think there is a premium on young players and draft picks,” Canucks president Trevor Linden told Sportsnet .

Days of teams trading first round picks at the deadline for rental players is becoming more infrequent. Teams are protecting their high picks.

With that said, draft picks will always change hands at the trade deadline and at the draft. Here is a look at the NHL draft picks that have already been traded leading up the 2016 NHL draft in June.
