Player signings
Joe Haggerty: The Boston Bruins have re-signed forward Danton Heinen to a two-year, $5.6 million contract and avoid arbitration.
The Bruins have Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo left to sign and less than $8 million in salary cap space.
Cap Friendly: The Dallas Stars have re-signed Dillon Heatherington to a one-year, two-way contract. He’ll get $700,000 in the NHL and $175,000 in the minors with $190,000 guaranteed.
He’ll be an RFA after next season and will have arbitration rights.
Danny Webster: The Vegas Golden Knights have re-signed goaltender Malcolm Subban to a one-year deal worth $850,000.
- Danny Webster: “He’s been a valuable contributor to our team over the last two seasons,” said president of hockey ops George McPhee. “We are excited to continue to work with Malcolm and help him reach his full potential as an NHL goaltender.”
Igor Eronko: Ty Rattie signed a one-year deal with Lokomotiv of the KHL under head coach Craig MacTavish.
- Darren Dreger: A good option for Rattie and keeps the NHL option for next season open if the has a good year under MacTavish.
