Brian Wilde: Galchenyuk re-aggravated his previous knee injury on Saturday night. He was able finish the game, but after having more in-depth tests, it showed there were issues.

Joe Haggerty of CSNNE: Goaltender Tuukka Rask didn’t practice yesterday, a day after leaving a game with a migraine. Defensemen Colin Miller and Kevan Miller returned to practice yesterday. Defenseman Torey Krug didn’t practice.
Boston Bruins: Coach Claude Julien said that Tuukka Rask was being evaluated by doctors yesterday about his migraine/vision issues.
On the Washington Capitals …
Tom Gulitti: Coach Barry Trotz said yesterday that they will likely keep defenseman John Carlson out until after the All-Star break. He definitely won’t play tonight.
On the New York Islanders …
Arthur Staple: The Islanders were given the day off yesterday, but Andrew Ladd and Travis Hamonic skated. Ladd could be ready to return today, but Hamonic is still a ways off.

Joe Smith: Coach Jon Cooper said that Victor Hedman‘s illness is now going through the team and staff. Defenseman Jason Garrison hasn’t skated since last Thursday, not known yet if he can play tonight.

Paul Hamilton of WGR 550: Defenseman Dmitry Kulikov practiced yesterday, but left before practice was finished after taking a stick to the mouth. Coach Dan Bylsma.
“He would’ve skated with us earlier if we had been home, so he’s skated extremely hard for two days and had full contact, so we’ll see how he responds from that, but it bodes well for seeing him some time this week.”
Bylsma added that he could be in the lineup tonight.
Defenseman Jake McCabe (shoulder) didn’t practice yesterday.
