Boston Bruins: Coach Bruce Cassidy said that defensemen Charlie McAvoy, Urho Vaakanainen, or Brandon Carlo are all unlikely to play on their road trip.

Florida Panthers: Goaltender Roberto Luongo left last night’s game with a lower-body and didn’t return.

Florida Panthers: Panthers GM Dale Tallon announced yesterday that they loaned forward Maxim Mamin to CSKA of the KHL.

Kempe not ruled out for today and Quick practices

Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider: Los Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe didn’t skate yesterday but he hasn’t been ruled out of today’s game. He’s been day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

“We’re hoping he’ll play tomorrow. We’ll see how that goes, though,” Willie Desjardins said after practice.

Goaltender Jonathan Quick took part in his first full practice yesterday. He is getting closer to returning but there is no return date set. He could be a week or so away.

Jets reclaim Dano

Winnipeg Jets PR: The Winnipeg Jets claimed Marko Dano off waivers from the Colorado Avalanche and have assigned him to Manitoba of the AHL.

Kevin Kurz: San Jose Sharks defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic said that Vancouver Canucks forward Antoine Roussel bit him and has a mark on his hand.
