Jason Brough of Pro Hockey Talk: Devils GM Lou Lamoriello said that defenseman Mark Fayne “underwent successful surgery to the core muscle of his left groin” yesterday. Rehab is expected to be eight to 10 weeks. Fayne is a pending UFA.
