TSN: Darren Dreger said that the New Jersey Devils are getting defenseman Brett Pesce back on Wednesday, and forward Jack Hughes isn’t far behind.

“He is likely going to return earlier than expected, so internally, that’s a boost for the Devils.”

Kristy Flannery: Pesce travelled with the team, but forward Arseny Gritsyuk didn’t. It will be two weeks before they have a better idea of defenseman Simon Nemec.

Sean Farrell: Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen played his first game since March 11th of last year. He had surgery to repair a ruptured right triceps tendon back on March 26th.

Curtis Pashelka: San Jose Sharks coach David Warsofsky on if forward Will Smith requires surgery: “I don’t think we’re there yet.”

Max Miller: Sharks defenseman Shakir Mukhamadullin returned from an upper-body injury after missing one game.

Smith and Philipp Kurashev were placed on the IR. Smith will be re-evaluated in a week, and Kurashev is week-to-week.

Seattle Kraken PR: Defenseman Brandon Montour left last night’s game.

TSN: Heading into last night, Toronto Maple Leafs Auston Matthews is on pace for 56 points, and Darren Dreger says he’s not injured and there is nothing lingering.

“Well we continue to be told flat-out that the captain of the Maple Leafs is not hurt, he is not injured. There is nothing lingering.”

Chris Johnston: Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz is not progressing as they thought, and is going to see another specialist. It is not concussion-related, according to coach Craig Berube.

Leafs PR: Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll was activated before their game last night.

Danny Webster: Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Shea Theodore has been dealing with an upper-body injury. Forward Jack Eichel left practice yesterday due to an illness. Defenseman Jeremy Lauzon could be an option for tonight.
