Krug practices for first time since ankle injury
Eric Russo of NHL.com: Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug skated with teammates in his first practice since his suffering an ankle injury. He won’t play in any games this week.
“He’s not ready yet. Won’t play this week,” said Cassidy. “But now he’s closer. If he’s never on the ice, then it’s kind of out of sight, out of mind. But now he’s back in the mix.
“When the injury happened, we thought he’d miss October – I’m not gonna say he’s gonna play on the 30th or in Nashville on Nov. 2, but he’s trending on schedule.”
Boeser has a groin issue
Vancouver Canucks: Canucks coach Travis Green said that forward Brock Boeser has a groin issue and is day-to-day: “It was bothering him a game ago, started in the Winnipeg game.”
Vancouver Canucks: Canucks forward Elias Pettersson will travel with the team on their two-game road trip. They are hopeful that he’ll be able to play, with coach adding “but I don’t have a solid answer right now.”

Lundqvist has a minor upper-body injury

Ansar Khan: Detroit Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill said that defenseman Mike Green could return on Friday, and that defenseman Danny DeKeyser could return on Sunday.
Zajac could be ready for Thursday
Abbey Mastracco: New Jersey Devils forward Travis Zajac didn’t skate yesterday but did some off-ice work. He is a maybe for Thursday’s game.
Chris Ryan: Don’t believe that Jesper Bratt has been cleared for full contact. Tomorrow would be the three-week mark since he broke his jaw, which was the expected recovery time.
Neuvirth to make a rehab start … JvR skates
John Boruk: Philadelphia Flyers GM Ron Hextall said that Michal Neuvirth will make a rehab start tonight in the AHL. Forward James van Riemsdyk will start skating likely today or tomorrow, but the five to six-week timetable is still the same.
