Lisa Dillman: Coach Randy Carlyle said that Jakob Silfverberg was being evaluated for an upper-body injury. He left the game early after taking a hit along the boards.

Terry Frei of the Denver Post: Avs defenseman Tyson Barrie didn’t practice on Wednesday and missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury.

“It’s something that kind of popped up (Tuesday) after the game and didn’t get any better overnight, so we’re just going to have to re-evaluate him again (Friday) and see if he’s going to be good to go for San Jose,” Bednar said.
