- Eric Stephens: Nate Thompson missed is fourth straight game with a lower body injury. Boudreau thinks that Thompson should be able to play at some point on their trip.
On the Toronto Maple Leafs …
- Rob Longley of Toronto Sun: Nikita Soshnikov is out with an upper-body injury. Leo Komarov has missed the past two games and will return tonight. Tyler Bozak practice again yesterday, but likely won’t come back until Thursday. Peter Holland has an upper-body injury and is out a little longer. Brooks Laich has been out for ‘personal matters’ and is expected back on Thursday.
On the San Jose Sharks …
- Paul Gackle: Matt Nieto is expected to be out for three to four weeks with a broken knuckle in his right hand.
On the Philadelphia Flyers …
- Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer: Michal Neuvirth will be out three weeks with a lower-body injury. The injury is thought to be his knee. The Flyers are still in the playoff hunt with 12 games remaining. The Flyers have recalled Anthony Stolarz.

- George Richards: Willie Mitchell isn’t flying with the team to New York, but he could join the later at some point on their trip.
On the New Jersey Devils …
- Mike Morreale of NHL.com: Cory Schneider could return to practice at some point this week. He’s been out since March 4th with a sprained MCL.

On the Buffalo Sabres …
- John Vogl of the Buffalo News: Robin Lehner missed his second straight game on Saturday with an ankle injury. They are hoping to avoid surgery.
“That’s not necessarily the case for Robin at all,” the coach said. “Just rest and rehab right now and strengthening. There will be an evaluation a little bit later in the week next week.”
