NHL Rumors: All Eyes Will Be on the Trade Market

Walt Ruff: Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob Slavin (lower-body) said that he’s “progressing well.” He’s increased his workload in practices, but there’s no return date set. He’s hoping it’s soon.

Walt Ruff: Hurricanes defenseman K’Andre Miller missed Thursday’s game with an illness, but was back at practice yesterday.

NHL: Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Cam York is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

San Jose Sharks PR: Forward Jeff Skinner was activated from the IR.

Matthew DeFranks: St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas didn’t play for most of the third period on Thursday to manage an injury. He missed practice on Wednesday because of it.

NHL: Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko and forward Nils Hoglander could return to the lineup as early as next Thursday.

Kevin Woodley: Canucks forward Conor Garland returned after missing two games with an upper-body injury. Forward Evander Kane missed last night’s game due to illness. He could be ready for today.
