Derek Lee: Anaheim Ducks forward Mikael Granlund (lower-body) is getting closer to returning to the lineup, according to coach Joel Quenneville, but they don’t think he’ll be ready in the next four games.

Derek Lee: Ducks goaltender Lukas Dostal is out with an upper-body injury. Quenneville: “We’re not sure (how serious), we’ll find out more today. I don’t foresee it (being) long-term, but we’ll see.”

Stefen Rosner: Boston Bruins forward Matej Blumel left last night’s game after two shifts with a lower-body injury.

Aaron Portzline: Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski was able to play (he left their last game early). Forwards Kirill Marchenko and Mathieu Olivier missed last night’s game.

David Satriano: New Jersey Devils forward Evgenii Dadonov missed last night’s game, and “will miss some time,” according to coach Sheldon Keefe.

New York Islanders: GM Mathieu Darche said they expect forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau to be ready before the Christmas break.

Wes Crosby: Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry, and forward Ville Koivunen returned from their lower-body injuries last night.

Darrin Brown: Seattle Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz left last night’s game in the second period with a lower-body injury.

Erik Erlendsson: Tampa Bay Lightning forward Pontus Holmberg has been activated off the IR and returned to the lineup.

Craig Merz: Toronto Maple Leafs forwards Auston Matthews, Matthew Knies, and  Nicolas Roy returned to the lineup last night.
