Dubinsky should be a go

Brian Hedger: Columbus Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky on him leaving their game earlier this week with a hamstring injury: “It just tightened up on me pretty good and I didn’t want to tear it down – didn’t want to tear it or have something crazy happen, when I knew it was just kind of a short-term injury.”

Jeff Svoboda: Dubinsky should be in the lineup tonight.

Nichushkin out with an upper-body injury

Mark Stepneski: Dallas Stars forward Valeri Nichushkin missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

Panthers not rushing Trocheck

Chris Fischer: Florida Panthers Vincent Trocheck said that he has a plate in his ankle and has already taken a puck off it. Wants to get back out playing.

George Richards: Panthers coach Bob Boughner said that Trocheck could play right now but they will hold off until after the All-Star break and their bye week.

Forward Jamie McGinn should be able to start practicing soon.

Lower-body injury for Fantenberg

Curtis Zupke: Los Angeles Kings forward Oscar Fantenberg is out with a lower-body injury.

Turris and Salomaki close

Brooks Bratten: Nashville Predators GM David Poile said that they are hopeful that forwards Kyle Turris and Miikka Salomaki are able to return after their bye week and All-Star break.

Ken Warren: Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson is traveling with the team to Carolina and St. Louis.

John Boruk: The Philadelphia Flyers activated goaltender Anthony Stolarz and assigned him to the AHL.

Horvat expected to play, Pettersson not ready

Ben Kuzma: Vancouver Canucks coach Travis Green said that forward Bo Horvat suffered a charly horse in their last game but he is expected to play. Forward Elias Pettersson won’t play tonight.

A decision on Holtby coming today

Stephen Whyno: Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby said his eye injury didn’t progress enough for him to play on Tuesday. He said we’ll find out today if he’ll be able to play tonight.
