Jeremy RutherfordCarl Gunnarsson, Jori Lehtera and Kyle Brodziak all left last night’s game with upper-body injuries.

TSN 1040: Jaden Schwartz (elbow) is back practicing with the Blues. He’s still expected to be out for at least another two weeks.

On the Buffalo Sabres …

Mike Harrington: Coach Dan Bylsma said that Evander Kane has three cracked ribs and will be out for weeks.

TSN Radio: Center Jack Eichel will wear a walking boot for the next 10 days. There is no timetable for his return.

Joe Haggerty of CSNNE: Bruins Patrice Bergeron missed his second game with a lower-body injury and is listed as day-to-day. He’s not travelling with the team.

AP in NorthJersey.com: Defenseman Dan Girardi suffered a hip flexor and left last night’s game in the second period and didn’t return. Defenseman Kevin Klein remains day-to-day with a back injury.

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times: Lightning winger Ryan Callahan was cleared for contact on Friday. He had hip surgery in June and is hopeful to be able to return at the start of November.

“There’s obviously some stuff to get to where I need to be and contact is a big hurdle,” Callahan said. “So we’ll see how I feel after I went through it, and go from there.”
