Adam Vingan of the Tennessean: Goaltender Pekka Rinne missed last night’s game and is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Rinne didn’t practice Monday and the team said it was a “maintenance day.” GM David Poile said that Rinne’s injury isn’t serious and they are optimistic he could be ready for Thursday.

On the Los Angeles Kings …

Jon Rosen: Anze Kopitar could be on the ice today. He hasn’t skated since suffering the injury.

On the Calgary Flames …

Kristen Odland: There was no update on Johnny Gaudreau after the game. Coach Glen Gulutzan said “it’s (frustrating)” with regards to all the unnecessary hacks and slashes.

On the Colorado Avalanche …

Colorado AvalancheMatt Duchene skated yesterday but in a no-contact jersey.

On the St. Louis Blues …

Jeremy Rutherford: The Blues pulled Alex Steen out for precautionary reasons.

Sarah McLellan: Coach Dave Tippett said that Mike Smith and Martin Hanzal will be travelling with the team. They will make a decision this morning if they will be able to play: “If they’re ready to go, we’ll put them in.”

Ted Wyman: Bryan Little, Mathieu Perreault and Drew Stafford are expected to travel with the team this week. Kyle Connor is day-to-day and should also be travelling with the team.
