Lia Assimakopoulos: Dallas Stars GM Jim Nill said that they don’t expect forward Roope Hintz to return before the end of the regular season, and they aren’t sure if he’ll be ready for Game 1 of the first round. He’s still listed as week-to-week.
Nill said that defenseman Miro Heiskanen was having an MRI yesterday afternoon, and they’ll know more soon.
- Robert Tiffin: Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said that Heiskanen will miss their last three regular-season games, but they’re “certainly hoping to get him in the first round.”

NHL: Edmonton Oilers goaltender Connor Ingram is questionable tonight after leaving Wednesday’s game after the second period. Ingram did practice yesterday.
Jason Dickinson: Oilers forward Jason Dickinson didn’t skate and is out tonight. Leon Draisaitl and Zack Hyman remain out as well.
NHL: New Jersey Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom will miss their final three games of the season, according to coach Sheldon Keefe. He’s resting and rehabbing nagging injuries.
Tom Gulitti: Washington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren (upper-body) practiced with the team yesterday and travelled with them to Pittsburgh. He’s day-to-day, according to coach Spencer Carbery.
