NHL injury notes
Boston Bruins: Forward David Krejci returned to the lineup last night.
Mike Heika: It seems to be day-to-day for both Corey Perry and Stephen Johns. It could be a week or two, but hard to say for sure.
Perry is supposed to be re-evaluated soon. He’s not skating, so he may not be close.
Johns is skating, but with the issue he’s been dealing with, can’t really predict when he could return.
Ryan Rishaug: The Edmonton Oilers activated defenseman Joel Persson from the IR and reassigned defenseman William Lagesson to the AHL.
Jack Michaels: Edmonton Oilers Alex Chiasson and Josh Archibald missed last night’s game with an illness.
New Jersey Devils: Cory Schneider left Friday’s game in the second period due to cramping. It shouldn’t be an issue going forward for Schneider.
Andrew Gross: New York Islanders forward Andrew Ladd (knee) was on the ice for practice yesterday in a no-contact jersey.
GM Lou Lamoriello said a likely timetable for Ladd’s return would be in November.
Pittsburgh Penguins: Coach Mike Sullivan on Nick Bjugstad and Evgeni Malkin, both who left last night’s game early: “They’re both being evaluated right now. We’ll have more information tomorrow.”

Curtis Pashelka: San Jose Sharks Dalton Prout (upper-body) isn’t traveling with the team.
Curtis Pashelka: Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said that Jacob Middleton is week-to-week after taking a shot from Vegas Golden Knights Ryan Reaves on Friday night.
