NHL injury updates
Matt Porter of the Boston Globe: The Boston Bruins have placed forward David Krejci on the IR. He’ll be out for at least another week.
Karson Kuhlman is out. Joakim Nordstrom and Par Lindholm are dealing with issues. Anders Bjork has been recalled.
Joe Haggerty: Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said they are waiting for results of Karson Kuhlman’s x-rays.
Pat Steinberg: Calgary Flames forward Sam Bennett skated yesterday by himself. He wasn’t ready for last night’s game but they are hopeful that he’ll be ready for Thursday.
Mike Chambers: The Colorado Avalanche won’t have anything to say about Mikko Rantanen‘s injury until sometime today. No practice on Tuesday. Wednesday’s practice is at 11 am.
Helene St. James: The Detroit Red Wings have placed forward Adam Erne on the IR retroactive to October 18th and have recalled forward Evgeny Svechnikov.
Jameson Olive: Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad missed last night’s game with an illness.
Sarah McLellan: Minnesota Wild forward Kevin Fiala is still day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
Michael Russo: Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk left last night’s game in the second period.

Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette: Montreal Canadiens forward Joel Armia suffered a lower-body injury during their pre-game warmup on Saturday. He didn’t practice yesterday.
New Jersey Devils: Defenseman Will Butcher practiced and is feeling better than he thought he would at this point.
“Everything turned out very well and I’m working back to possibly be back on Friday.”
Scott Billeck: Winnipeg Jets defenseman Nathan Beaulieu was on the ice yesterday. It may have been the first time since the team announced he’d be out a month.
