NHL Injury Updates

Paul Hamilton: Buffalo Sabres forward Marcus Johansson is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Forward Vladimir Sobotka will be out for four to six weeks.

Defenseman Zach Bogosian is now listed as week-to-week.

Defenseman Marco Scandella is now listed as day-to-day.

Chip Alexander: Carolina Hurricanes forward Erik Haula was on the ice for practice yesterday.

Charlie Roumeliotis: Chicago Blackhawks forward Drake Caggiula missed last night’s game due to an illness.

Eric Lear: Caggiula has been put in concussion protocol. Defenseman Connor Murphy is looking good to return on Saturday.

Adrian Dater: The Colorado Avalanche put goaltender Pavel Francouz on the IR. Goaltender Philipp Grubauer practiced yesterday but may not be ready.

Sean Shapiro: Dallas Stars defenseman Roman Polak is probable for tonight, and forward Mattias Janmark isn’t. Forward Roope Hintz could be ready for Tuesday.

Ansar Khan: The Detroit Red Wings have placed defenseman Patrik Nemeth and forward Justin Abdelkader on the IR retroactive to November 10th.

Jason Gregor: The Edmonton Oilers put defenseman Brandon Manning on the IR and recalled Caleb Jones.

Chris Ryan of NJ.com: New Jersey Devils defenseman Sami Vatanen missed his second consecutive game last night with an upper-body injury.

Colin Stephenson: New York Rangers forward Mika Zibanejad didn’t travel with the team. He’ll remain back but will continue to skate on his own.

Thomas Drance: The Vancouver Canucks put Brandon Sutter on the IR retroactive to November 12th. He’ll be out for at least the rest of their homestand.

David Schoen: Vegas Golden Knights forward Alex Tuch returned to the lineup last night.
