Walsh on Pacioretty switching agents

TVA Sports: Max Pacioretty unexpectedly switched agents at the draft, going from Pat Brisson to Allan Walsh. Walsh said Pacioretty called him on the second day of the draft and asked about a switching.

“There were a lot of things that happened and it did not happen the way he would have liked. For him, communication is important and at this level, it’s already going well between us.”

Flyers center Couturier has a knee injury

Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post: A report from the Montreal Journal said that Philadelphia Flyers forward Sean Couturier re-injured his MCL, the same one that he injured during the playoffs last year.

Couturier missed only two games, but later said it would have been a four-week recovery if it weren’t the playoffs.

The Flyers training camp is three weeks away.
