Joe Haggerty: Forward Brad Marchand didn’t travel with the team to start their two-game road trip due to an upper-body injury.
“Marchand won’t be traveling with us,” said Cassidy, following the Bruins impressive 5-3 home win over the Minnesota Wild without Marchand on Monday night. “So that’s the best I have.”
The Bruins play Toronto on Friday, so it is possible that Marchand could join the team before then.

Ristolainen is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Bogosian is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
Forward Justin Bailey is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
Gorges has a lower-body injury.
Forward Evan Rodrigues‘ hand injury is taking little longer to heal, but he is skating.
Forward Jacob Josefson is week-to-week with a foot injury and hasn’t started skating.

Aaron Portzline: The Blue Jackets forward Matt Calvert will be out three to four weeks with an upper-body injury. The Blue Jackets put Calvert on the IR.
