CLNS: Defenseman Charlie McAvoy is expected to be out for “a few weeks” with a minor MCL sprain.

Sean Shapiro: Goaltender Ben Bishop will be out for the next two games. Coach Ken Hitchcock said they will have an update later this week.

Mike Heika: Ken Hitchcock on Bishop’s injury: “With Ben, we’re probably going to need a couple of days to figure out time frame on it so for sure. He’s not going to play tomorrow and Friday and then let’s just see from there.”

Sean Shapiro: Forward Radek Faksa and defenseman Esa Lindell won’t travel with the team to Nashville.

Michael Russo: Kunin will be out for the rest of season with a torn ACL.

Michael Russo: Was the swelling in his knee goes down, he’ll have the surgery and will be out for six to eight months.

Rick Dhaliwal: Coach Travis Green on Brock Boeser: “gone to the hospital for precautionary reasons. Our guys feel like it is a bruise, I do not want to comment on it.”

Ben Kuzma: The Canucks are hoping that Boeser only has a bruised tailbone after being taken to the hospital by ambulance.
