Michael Russo: Coach Bruce Boudreau said that Jason Zucker had x-rays taken that took about 30 seconds, but he was put in concussion protocol after. Zucker didn’t understand why he was being put in the concussion protocol.

Michael Russo: Defenseman Jared Spurgeon will have tests today. Hearing that it could be a hamstring injury. If he’s out, they could move Jonas Brodin to the right side or they could recall Ryan Murphy.

Sarah McLellan: Boudreau said that Spurgeon’s lower-body injury is not a knee or an ankle.

Adam Vingan: Forward Calle Jarnkrok left the arena with his arm in a sling.

On the San Jose Sharks …

Renaud Lavoie: The Sharks signed Antoine Bibeau to a two-year contract extension with an AAV of $650,000. He’ll make $300,000 in the AHL.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Mike McIntyre: Coach Paul Maurice said that Michael Hutchinson didn’t feel right and they pulled him from the game. He hasn’t been diagnosed with a concussion. He will be evaluated today.

Ken Wiebe: Forward Paul Stastny was a late scratch with a lower-body injury. Shawn Matthias was activated from the IR.
