Boston Bruins: Coach Bruce Cassidy said that forward Jake DeBrusk won’t play tonight but added: “He’s very close. We’re just going to give him a little extra time. We’ll still list him as day-to-day, but Thursday’s a good possibility.”

On the Buffalo Sabres …

John Vogl: The Sabres have put forward Matt Moulson on waivers today. If he goes unclaimed, they will assign him to Rochester of the AHL.

Cap Friendly: Moulson has another year left on his contract and carries a $5 million cap hit.

Helene St. James: The Detroit Red Wings traded forward Scott Wilson to the Buffalo Sabres for a 2019 5th round pick.
