On the Winnipeg Jets …
Mitchell Clinton of WinnipegJets.com: Forward Patrik Laine will be out for four to 14 days with a bruise. The full extent of his injury is not known.
Defenseman Jacob Trouba is progressing from a concussion he suffered on Sunday.
“He’s been pretty darn near symptom free since day one,” said Maurice. “We’ll give that one a couple more days, and he’ll start skating.”
Goaltender Michael Hutchinson skated for the first time since suffering a concussion on March 13th.
Goaltender Steve Mason is getting close to getting back on the ice after having his knee scoped.
“Mason will skate in the next couple of days. There’s not a healing time that we need in terms of the injury itself,” said Maurice. “You have to heal off the scope. In the next few days we’re hoping he gets back on the ice.”
Jack Roslovic‘s status will be known this morning. He missed yesterday with an illness.
