Ryan Rishaug: Talbot had an MRI yesterday that showed some issues with a previous issue. The issue isn’t believed to be too serious, but recovery time is needed.
Edmonton Oilers: Coach Todd McLellan on Talbot: “He came home & played but didn’t feel right. We don’t think he’ll be available for at least two weeks. It could be longer.”
Jim Matheson: Talbot’s injury is not a concussion. He tweaked something during their game against the Red Wings and it came back during their Coyotes game.

Brooks Bratten: Coach Peter Laviolette said that defenseman Ellis is still not expected to return until around Christmas/early January.
