Steve Zipay: Andrew Desjardins will remain in the Rangers camp on a PTO. GM Jeff Gorton spoke with Desjardins agent, and he wants him to stay for awhile.

Aaron Portzline: There were talks this offseason that if Vitali Abramov didn’t make the Blue Jackets this year, he would head to Europe.

Aaron Portzline: Have been informed that Abramov will report to his QMJHL team, Gatineau, today.

Ryan Kennedy: Wouldn’t be a surprise if Gatineau trades Abramov at some point this season to a contending team.

On the St. Louis Blues …

Jeremy Rutherford: After Robby Fabbri‘s last game, Blues doctors saw a tear in his ACL. It was later confirmed by Fabbri’s doctor.

Jeremy Rutherford: Fabbri’s injury was the same ACL injury as before, and he will require surgery.

On the Arizona Coyotes …

Sarah McLellan: Defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson skated for 35 minutes yesterday. Coach Rick Tocchet thinks OEL could skate with the main group today but is not sure for how long.

Craig Morgan: Forward Emerson Etem cleared waivers but will stay with the team for now.

On the Los Angeles Kings …

Jon Rosen: Forward Marian Gaborik has been off the ice for a couple of days but is expected to be back on today.
