Last ditch effort by Columbus Blue Jackets to sign Artemi Panarin – eight years around $96-$100 million. Panarin has known this money was available for a long time now.
Several people have said that Panarin could be getting around $12.5 million from Islanders or wherever he lands. The Rangers won’t go that high, but the Colorado Avalanche offered it.
The Vancouver Canucks appear to be landing Tyler Myers and Jordie Benn.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to Kenny Agostino and Nick Shore.
Less certain on Gustav Nyquist and the Blue Jackets, Marcus Johansson and the Blue Jackets or Buffalo Sabres.
The Edmonton Oilers less likely on Nyquist, and have they’ve looked at Valtteri Filppula.
